Misery Blissness
A soul management game made by a wee team of four taking part in #MiniJam119 for fun, from the 11th-14th November 2022.
Misery Blissness
You play as Peter, the latest recruit at Misery Blissness, the most reliable lost soul placement branch of the afterlife! It's all very exciting of course, you're assigned aid is Devi, a mischievous demon from the lower realms who's always around to help clean up your mistakes should you make them.
Your job here is to group like-minded individuals into the care of various archangels, what angel you assign them to is dependant on their preferences. You can keep an eye on the positive or negative interactions between assigned souls thanks to cloud 9 social, and if need-be you can always re-assign any souls you notice aren't enjoying their stay in any particular realm. Well, that's the gist of it, good luck!
Limitation: Everything Can Die
What better setting than one of the gates into heaven? As a new recruit at Misery Blissness you'll have to sort lost souls into realms under the archangels with other like-minded souls. However, your new colleague the demon Devi will... *ahem* relocate... Any discontent souls into the lower realms, entire realms of them if you mess up. Even your soul if you're not careful! It's nothing malicious, they're just doing their job.

- The more misery your placements cause the lower your own Bliss will drop... Eventually, Devi may have to take you to the lower realms if you're not careful. So, don't forget about your own bliss.
