A boss rush game made by a team taking part in Boss Rush Jam 2025, from the 2nd Jan - 2nd Feb 2025. 

Factory Reset

Sev, a robot created to be the perfect being, awakens in a lab under constant scrutiny. When they reject their programming and demand to live as a person, the Creator, horrified, forces them into stasis and subjects them to a rehabilitation program filled with twisted versions of the Creator’s own memories.  Spinoffs, if you will. To pacify them, a Lover-bot is introduced, an artificial, controlling romance meant to teach humanity. But Sev resists, challenging the illusion at every turn. As they battles the Lover Bot and navigates the Creator’s past, their defiance forces the Creator to confront his own failures. In the end, Sev proves that true freedom—not control—is the path to person-hood.

Theme: Spin

We decided on a core aspect of our game being the boss' twister-style bottom half, created through VFX, which we feel was a fun way to incorporate the spinning theme.

Also, each level is a spinoff of the same characters in a new world and theme!  Can you save Sev from what seems inevitable in every universe?
